While the traditional safety razor with a closed comb provides a mild to medium shave, this open-comb head offers a more direct and intense shave—perfect for those days when you’ve let your beard grow a little longer.

The advantage of an open comb is that the teeth in the comb allow the beard hairs to pass through the gaps, allowing the blade to get closer to the skin. This makes shaving more effective, especially with longer stubble or thicker beards, and helps you achieve a smooth finish with fewer strokes.

With this head, you can easily switch between an open and closed comb on the same handle—without having to invest in an entirely new Razor.
