Esprit de Valdemar is synonymous with a classic, old-school shave. The lineup includes a selection of products that can be used as Aftershave, as a fragrance for the entire body—and if you prefer a truly classic look, the products can also be used as a hair fragrance.

Esprit de Valdemar was founded by pharmacist Mads Graa Aarsleff in Vordingborg in 1836, where the first Eau de Cologne was launched. The brand’s name is inspired by the Valdemars of history: Valdemar the Great, who founded Vordingborg Castle; Valdemar Sejr; and Valdemar Atterdag, who built the Goose Tower. The Goose Tower is also Esprit de Valdemar’s trademark.

Esprit de Valdemar gained great popularity and was also named a Royal Warrant Holder. Over the years, several products were added to the lineup, which now also includes Portugal, Ice Esprit, Brillantine, and Fougère.
